SYSGO's PikeOS, a hypervisor-based real-time operating system (RTOS), has been chosen for the onboard software of the ANGELS project, a European initiative to develop extremely compact satellites. The first prototype was launched at the end of 2020 and proved to be fully operational.

In addition to the existing standards EN 50128, IEC 61508 and ISO 26262, the railway standard EN 50657 (software for railway vehicles) is now supported.
