At Advanced Engineering UK, SYSGO will exhibit a demonstrator for the operation of mission-critical assistance systems and non-critical multimedia applications on a shared automotive platform. The new system is based on SYSGO’s PikeOS Hypervisor and Freescale’s LS1 multi-core hardware.
PikeOS Hypervisor is the software platform for complex applications related to the aerospace industry, the automotive industry, railway engineering, medical technology and industrial automation which have to be certified according to international standards for functional safety and/or security.
“Taking part in Advanced Engineering UK is one of a wide range of activities that we are planning in order to develop our presence in Great Britain. With the appointment of Burkhard Jour and Robert Pickles, we have gained two experienced colleagues who will be responsible for establishing SYSGO in the British market. We hope that we can thus secure an even better position for SYSGO worldwide”, says Norbert Kuhrt, VP Sales at SYSGO.
PikeOS is a hypervisor especially made for embedded systems. With real-time, virtualization and partitioning, it provides all the features needed to build todays multi-functional and high-integrated devices. Its security architecture creates a foundation for critical systems allowing official approval by the authorities and certification according to international functional safety standards. PikeOS is the only European software platform for smart devices in the Internet-of-Things.
