I had the pleasure to attend with Franz Walkembach the international trade show CONCAR EXPO 2018 on June 27th and 28th in Berlin. Close to 80 exhibitors were present at this trade show on automated driving, connected car and mobility solutions. SYSGO and Vector Informatik joined booth attracted quite a few visitors interested to learn about our new combined solution for ADAS. We presented a demonstrator show casing the capabilities of Vector’s Adaptive MICROSAR Stack running on PikeOS safe and secure hypervisor on a Renesas R-Car H3 embedded board.
In addition, I also talked at the CONCAR CONGRESS, the educational program running in parallel to the expo, with a presentation titled “Autonomous Driving – Why Hackers can’t destroy our vision”, showing lessons and concepts we can learn from the IT and avionics markets to reliably and cost effectively secure the increased connectivity in and around the cars.
